Meet Our Staff
Pastor – Joe VandenAkker
Pastor Joe and Karen came to Hanley Church in June, 2018. Pastor Joe previously pastored two congregations in Michigan and two in Minnesota. He and Karen return to Michigan at a new stage in their lives. Their five children have completed college, are working, and establishing homes of their own. Three have married, providing Pastor Joe and Karen with two sons-in-law and a daughter-in-law. God has blessed Pastor Joe and Karen with two grand-daughters. Karen brings to Hanley years of experience as a band director, classroom music instructor, and church organist.

Paul and Linda Schaner – Custodians
Paul and Linda have been taking care of our church building since 2005. Paul is often the first person you see when you enter our church building on Sunday mornings.
